Prof. Hanwool Woo

Dr. Hanwool Woo received the BS degree in aeronautics and astronautics in 2008, the MS degree in advanced energy in 2010, and the PhD degree in precision engineering in 2018 from the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan. From 2010 to 2014, he was a Researcher at LG Electronics, Seoul, South Korea. From 2018 to 2019, he was an overseas researcher under Postdoctoral Fellowship of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science with the Department of Precision Engineering, the University of Tokyo. From 2019 to 2020, he was an Assistant Professor with the Department of Intelligent Mechatronics, Akita Prefectural University, Akita, Japan. From 2020 to 2022, he was a Project Lecturer with the Institute of Engineering Innovation, the University of Tokyo. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Faculty of Engineering, Kogakuin University, Tokyo, Japan. His research interests cover autonomous driving, robotics, and teleoperation. He is a member of JSAE, RSJ, and IEEE.
